As a teacher, I serve as a facilitator and mentor, helping to guide students along their paths of learning by fostering inclusive environments. I aim to offer rich learning experiences for students in my classes by helping them engage in meaningful explorations of dance technique, choreography, and improvisation as well as discussions based in the field of dance studies.

I currently hold K-12 teaching certification in Dance in South Carolina and North Carolina. My public school teaching experience includes middle and high school dance positions where I have taught all levels of modern dance, beginning ballet, beginning jazz, choreography, improvisation, and dance history.
I have experience supervising undergraduate teaching candidates in both North and South Carolina. I have carried out teaching observations, provided evaluations, and mentored edTPA preparation.
